The “Winter School“ in Val d’Ultimo
Alongside beautiful farmhouses and reservoirs that shape the landscape of the Val d’Ultimo, we find the 'Winterschule' – literally the 'Winter School'. It’s dedicated to adult education, aiming to teach and carry forward traditional crafts by working with natural, local materials. Ancient skills like weaving and spinning can be learned anew here. Creating quality, natural objects with your own hands is a wonderful thing. Besides the joy of making, you get a finished product and help preserve old crafts from disappearing – just as many generations did before us.
