Cima Muta – The Sopranes Lakes
The Sopranes Lakes form the most extensive high alpine lake district in South Tyrol. Located in the heart of the Gruppo di Tessa Nature park the lakes vary in altitudes from 2117m to 2589m. These ten lakes are unquestionably some of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the entire Alps. The hike from the Muta farmsteads over Cima Muta leading to the Sopranes Lakes is a must or all hikers that wish to discover these great alpine treasures.
