Flora and fauna in Alta Venosta
If you look closely at Alta Venosta and have the right guide, you can discover much more than just colourful flowers and delicate butterflies. During the summer months, the tourist office of the Lago di Resia holiday area organises a weekly guided hike to the most colourful spots in the area to introduce visitors to the natural environment. We learn to call plants and insects by their names, discovering how they live and the symbiosis in which they coexist. Many of these varieties can also be used in cooking, and we will try them at the Tendershof farm.
